AWAKENING HARMONY AND JOY IN BALI

February 22 - 28, 2027

Sidemen Valley, Bali

with

Dr. Larry Cammarata & Linda Cammarata, RYT

Learn and explore within a friendly, supportive small group setting.

You are warmly invited to join us for an authentic journey into the heart of Bali — not the Bali of crowded beaches and tourist trails, but the Bali that has quietly endured for centuries in the highland villages of Sidemen Valley. This is a small-group retreat, creating a deeply personal experience. We'll spend six nights at Shanti Surya Villas, nestled among emerald rice terraces in the foothills of sacred Mount Agung — one of the most spiritually significant landscapes in all of Bali.

Together we'll immerse ourselves in the living cultural and spiritual traditions that make this island unlike anywhere else in the world. Our days will offer luxurious accommodations, delicious Balinese cuisine, enriching cultural excursions, and unhurried time to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

Each morning, Linda Cammarata, RYT will guide Embodied Yoga practices to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Throughout the retreat, mindfulness teacher and psychologist Larry Cammarata, Ph.D. will offer inspiring teachings and practices to deepen your presence and enrich the journey.

Larry’s innovative 10 CE/CME course, Mindfulness, Psychological Flexibility, and the Art of Improvisation, will be complemented by the cultural and spiritual traditions of Bali—an island whose living heritage of ritual, reverence, and everyday devotion offers a rare setting in which to explore presence, acceptance, and the art of responding to life as it unfolds.

Beauty and harmony characterize Bali, and the local people are some of the most gentle and gracious individuals we have ever encountered in our travels. Art, ritual, performance, kindness, and devotion are deeply integrated into the culture.

Mindfulness, Psychological Flexibility, and the Art of Improvisation with Dr. Larry Cammarata

Life rarely goes according to plan. This program explores how mindfulness, psychological flexibility, and the art of improvisation help us meet the unscripted moments—in our work, our relationships, and ourselves—with presence and creativity.

Through practices like present-moment awareness, acceptance, embodiment, and mindful movement—woven together with the improviser's essential art of "Yes, And"—you'll discover how creativity, empathy, and compassion deepen our connections with others. These are living skills, as meaningful in professional life as they are in relationships, conversations, and the unscripted moments of every day.

Grounded in evidence and enriched by the beauty of Bali, this is an invitation to practice presence, embrace the unexpected, and rediscover the creativity at the heart of healing and connection.
