Ponte de Lima, Portugal

Improvisation is the art of creating spontaneously in the moment—without a script, plan, or predetermined outcome. It’s a practice rooted in presence, listening, and adaptability, making it a valuable skill far beyond the stage. This introductory session introduces the fundamentals of improvisation in an accessible and playful way that’s open to all levels of experience, especially beginners. Through games and exercises designed to foster trust, collaboration, and quick thinking, participants will discover how the principles of improvisation—such as saying “yes”, staying present, and embracing uncertainty—can enhance communication, reduce anxiety, and support personal and professional growth. Improvisation cultivates confidence, creativity, psychological flexibility, and connection. It can support you in becoming more attentive, aware, and joyful in a way that makes a difference in relationship to yourself, others, and the world.
